On November 5, 2014, a Federal Register Notice (FRN) was published announcing the Federal Transit Administration’s selection of projects funded under the Resilience Projects in Response to Hurricane Sandy program.

In this FRN, SEPTA was selected to receive $86,758,000 in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Public Transportation Emergency Relief Program for Resilience Projects in Response to Hurricane Sandy funding made available under the Disaster Relief Appropriations Act of 2013.  This application is for $66,329,500 (Federal share) and will fully fund the Railroad Signal Power Reinforcement, Railroad Embankment/Slop Stabilization, Ancillary Control Center and Subway Pump Room Emergency Power projects.  SEPTA will apply for the balance of funding in a future amendment to this application.

Dennis Stefanski, SEPTA Special Projects Manager, will speak about the Program during the event.
